Patchwork
My work is often a combination of taking distance and getting closer, a mixture of overview and detail in just one image. In Patchwork I am stitching a large number of consecutive detailed photographs. The work Ovata for instance is built from 21 individual negatives. The result is a large scale "hyper"realistic panorama, an extremely detailed overview. Both works "Ovata" and "Goeree" were commissioned by the Maasstad Hospital Rotterdam.
