In the Rotterdam harbour E.M.O. is a visual transparent company. Large hills of coal and iron ore can be seen from a long distance.

An unusual landscape is shaped by storing ore from different continents, in different shades of colour, shipped by large bulk carriers.

These hills of ore are shaped by big machines and polished by wind and rain. A landscape freed from the evergreen top layer so common in the Netherlands. This is a multi-cultured landscape.
